I currently represent veterans in their appeals of VA disability claims, both before the VA and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

I also have experience in a broad range of civil practice, including securities litigation, particularly the defense of securities class actions and derivative actions, bankruptcy, including both creditor and debtor representation, and real estate transactions.

I graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008, where I was a Submissions Editor and Articles and Notes Editor for the Texas International Law Journal. While in law school, I interned for the Honorable Sam A. Lindsay of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. I also represented juvenile criminal offenders in conjunction with the Travis County Juvenile Public Defenders Office and the University of Texas Juvenile Justice Clinic. I received my Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.

I am a member of the State Bars of Texas and California and admitted to practice before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Texas, and the Central District of California. I am accredited by the VA and, as such, am authorized to represent veterans in their appeals before the VA.

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked on behalf of a financial services industry association’s government relations team and as a national campaign finance consultant.
